Trust & safety
Most AI study apps ask you to trust a black box with your child's education. Sabi was built the other way round: every answer is grounded, scored, reviewable and visible to parents. Here's exactly how.
The journey of an answer
Shine doesn't answer from thin air. Every explanation is anchored to the official WAEC, NECO or JAMB syllabus for that subject and topic — the same documents examiners set questions from.
Each answer carries a confidence level, visible right in the conversation. High confidence means strong syllabus grounding; anything less is labelled honestly instead of delivered with false certainty.
When Shine can't ground an answer well enough, it says "I'm not certain" and shows what it does know — because a wrong answer delivered confidently is the worst thing you can give a student before an exam.
Learning content is reviewed by human experts in their domains — teachers and subject specialists empowered with AI tools — and low-confidence or sensitive answers are routed to human review too. AI does the scale; people set the standard.
Every answer records where it came from and how it was checked. Parents can review any conversation, and one tap reports a problem straight to our team.
The household model
A Sabi account starts with a parent, not a child. Guardians create the household, add each learner, and grant informed consent for exactly what Sabi may collect and do — per child. Children never need their own credentials; the guardian's trust is the root of everything. Withdraw consent and it takes effect immediately, everywhere.
